Volunteer at nonprofit Portland Backpack with us, where we will pack food sacks and craft care cards to include in the food sacks!

1 in 5 kids in Oregon experience food insecurity. Portland Backpack serves children who are at risk of hunger by providing food sacks for weekend days when food scarcity is higher. They believe that engaging the community in their efforts creates a greater impact that reaches beyond reducing hunger.

This volunteer opportunity is available to BBPDX members only. Members are welcome to bring a friend or family member if they so choose.
