Stephen Green (he/him)
Executive Director
Stephen Green is a strategy, operations, and financial leader with a passion for community impact and building trust. He has a track record of helping founders understand how to work "ON" the business, rather than just "IN" the business, in order to achieve results and manage growth effectively. Stephen has experience as a founder and investor. He is also a startup mentor, a founder of “PitchBlack” a pitch competition, and has served in leadership positions at several companies, including WeWork.
EMMA CHITWOOD (she/her)
Operations Manager
Emma is a recent graduate of Portland State University and majored in film, with minors in women’s studies, French, and anthropology. She has worked for multiple local small businesses, and has called Portland her home her whole life. She is a wealth of information on the latest great film and tv, and is an absolutely indispensable part of our organization's leadership transition. Emma cares deeply about the area and the people in it, and loves that she’s working to help make Portland a better place. She spends her time with her friends and family, traveling both around Oregon and around the world, and playing with her dog and cats.
KYLE WHITE (she/her)
Financial and Operations Consultant
Kyle has been working with BBPDX since 2019. She owns a consulting business that provides operational, financial, and internal communications support. She has over 18 years of nonprofit experience, working in a variety of roles.
She currently maintains a portfolio of clients where she does everything from bookkeeping to financial, project, operational and HR management. When she isn't working you can find Kyle exploring the PNW with her wife and children.
